I wanted to share with you a quick update about how things are going with combatting the pandemic here in Bury. There are three main takeaway points from this:
- That transmission rates are falling across Bury and have reduced to where we now have the second lowest rate in Greater Manchester.
- We have distributed between 35 and 36 thousand doses of the vaccine. Our target for 15/02 is only 39,500 so everything is going very well.
- Fairfield Hospital are "cautiously optimistic" about their ability to get through the surge in patients.
