It is a tragedy when a family's cat is involved in a traffic collision and in the debate on this issue I once again raised the importance of bringing in my Pets (Microchips) Bill. Not knowing what has happened to your cat can be devastating and we must ensure local authorities scan the microchips of cats. Listen to my full speech here.
