James Daly MP question the Minister for Crime and Policing

🚨🚨Crime and Antisocial Behaviour Update🚨🚨

Over the last few weeks I have been running a survey to gather your views on crime and antisocial behaviour across Bury, Ramsbottom and Tottington.

Many of you reported that you were concerned about the visibility of the police in our area and also the tools that they need to be effective.

So today in Parliament I have asked that question to the Minister of State for Crime and Policing. In the video below you can see exactly what he says.

The police do an incredibly difficult job and we must support them in being able to do that, be that through increasing police numbers in Bury or giving them the powers that they need.

I will also be meeting with the local policing team to discuss the results but for now I am going to be keeping the online version of the survey open for an extra week, so if you have not had a chance to have your say yet then please complete the survey below 👇

Crack down on crime and anti-social behaviour – making our streets safer

Crime and anti-social behaviour effects everybody in Bury, Ramsbottom and Tottington. From littering and fly-tipping to serious criminal conduct such as knife crime and drug-dealing we need to back our police, increasing their numbers and imposing tougher sentences for those who blight our communities.
