🚨🚔 I have met this morning with Chief Superintendent Chris Hill for an update on policing in Bury and the steps being taken to address crime and antisocial behaviour across our towns and villages.

It is absolutely critical we ensure people in our town are able to go about their lives without fear of being a victim of crime or antisocial behaviour. The meeting today was positive in the light of recent concerning as Chief Superintendent Hill discussed their ongoing efforts to tackle the serious violence and knife crime that we have seen recently. 

I will continue to work with GMP Bury and its district commander as we give them the tools they need to tackle crime in our town.
